I'm sharing a captivating experience here, esteemed readers, to illustrate that one cannot judge a person solely by their appearance, just as one cannot judge a book by its cover. Just as we often don't know what lies within the pages of a book, we often remain unaware of the emotions, thoughts, and even viruses, bacteria, and other elements that reside within another person's inner world. We truly understand only when we step into someone else's shoes and experience their life moments.
Recently, I encountered aluminum foil after a prolonged absence. I gently touched my forehead with a finger that had previously come into contact with the foil. A few minutes later, when I went to wash my hands, my reflection revealed a red spot exactly where my finger had touched. This unexpected reaction puzzled me, as I hadn't observed anything similar before. Checking the mirror 20 minutes later, the spot persisted, though it eventually faded. Notably, I didn't scratch the area with my fingernail; it was merely a gentle touch.
This experience highlighted a new level of sensitivity for me. In previous posts, I've discussed how even small amounts of fried or overly salty food can trigger various reactions in my body: an unusual heartbeat, exacerbated eczema, heightened skin sensitivity, headaches, and a drop in energy levels. I now observe these responses more acutely, as if from an outsider's perspective. This newfound awareness has been enlightening.
Instead of panicking, I simply supported my body. I drank plenty of water and ate fresh food and fruits. In the evening, I made a coriander-blueberry-dulse-banana smoothie. The next day began with celery juice, followed shortly by a blueberry-dragon fruit smoothie. The outcome was a surge in energy and relief from eczema.
Moreover, I prepared a chili dish with potatoes based on a Medical Medium recipe. To my surprise, it was not only delightful but also lacked the adverse reactions that oil-fried or overly salty dishes had previously caused. My body responded positively to this meal, indicating a preference for more raw foods and moderately cooked dishes.
Through these experiences, I've come to understand the health issues I've faced for over two decades. Healing has become a lifestyle for me. Our world is rife with chemicals, toxins, and pathogens, but conscious choices can significantly improve our quality of life. Every individual is unique, with distinct reactions to stimuli. This knowledge empowers us to discern our body's needs and cater to them.
Given today's fast-paced lifestyle and myriad food options, it's vital to recognize how various foods and environmental factors influence us. Insights from the Medical Medium and personal experiences, like mine, underscore the importance of listening to our bodies and nourishing them appropriately.
Healing and well-being are continuous journeys that require our commitment. It's crucial to remain receptive to new knowledge and adjust our habits based on our body's signals. Every decision we make in this endeavor is a testament to our self-care. I urge you to persist in your exploration, learning, and conscious decision-making for a balanced and wholesome life.
Wishing you sunny days ahead!
